I have worked in a community mental health setting for 13 years and during that time, have provided different services (skills training, case management, and individual/group therapy) to adults that have struggled with significant mental illness. My passion lies in working with individuals in the mental health field in promotion of treatment, recovery, and prevention. I received my undergraduate degree from Oregon Institute of Technology in Applied Psychology in 2000. I completed my Master’s degree in General Psychology in 2010 and am currently in the final stages of my doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in General Psychology. My dissertation topic is transgenerational transmission of trauma. My hobbies are photography, geocaching, creativity and spending time with my family, friends, and pets.
