I am a licensed clinical social worker with 30 years’ experience working with clients and families. I’ve done family counseling, geriatric care management, home hospice social work, cancer counseling, interactive guided imagery, and individual psychotherapy. I have a special interest in treating substance use disorder, depression, anxiety and LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) issues. I received a Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College in Ohio and my Master of Social Work from The National Catholic School of Social Service in Washington, D.C. (Catholic University). I am originally from Washington, D.C., and find the beauty and quiet of Lake County to be refreshing and rejuvenating. I have grown children, and I live in Paisley with my partner, Valerie, and my cat, Moe. I knit and crochet whenever possible.
