Our Swing Bed Program allows patients who no longer require acute hospital care—but still need skilled nursing and rehabilitation—to continue their recovery right here in our hospital, close to family and community.
As a 24-bed Critical Access Hospital, we are proud to offer personalized, high-quality care in a supportive, familiar environment.
Comprehensive Skilled Care & Therapy Services
Patients in our Swing Bed Program benefit from daily access to a strong therapy department, including:

Therapy services are tailored to each patient’s individual goals, helping them regain strength, mobility, independence, and confidence as safely and efficiently as possible.
Exceptional Nursing & Medical Support
Our Swing Bed patients receive care from dedicated Nurses and Nursing Assistants who work together at patient ratios designed to support attentive, personalized care. This allows our staff to spend meaningful time with patients, respond quickly to needs, and focus on recovery in a safe, supportive environment. An emergency provider is available on call 24/7, ensuring peace of mind for patients and families.
Personalized, Team-Based Care
Every Swing Bed patient receives an individualized care plan designed to support recovery and a safe transition home.
We provide:
- Weekly interdisciplinary care team meetings to review progress and address patient needs
- Personalized care plans focused on recovery goals
